Please do not ride wet trails! It only creates more work for the volunteers to repair the damage you create.

During the Civil War, this park was a Union fort, protecting the Ohio River.

The original fortification is still there, and much of the rest has been recreated.

What Fort Duffield (or just Duff as the locals call it) lacks in mileage, it makes up in steep climbs, fun fast descents, and jumps.

Most of the jumps are gaps so pre-ride before you free ride.

All the trails lead back to the parking lot or very near the parking lot so it is difficult to get lost.  Lots of different loop options with plenty of scenic views overlooking the Salt River.

In 2022, KYMBA Louisville, and the Friends of Fort Duffield invested over $20,000 in the park for the expansion of new trails and a rework of some of the old ones.

‘Duff’ is downhill fun!
